Project: Comprehensive Reporting System for Elementary Education Platform
Timeline: July 2025–Present
Role: Collaborative UX/UI Designer
Users: Hundreds of educators and thousands of students across seven-state network
Collaborated with a design team, researcher, curriculum experts, and engineers to design six report types (three new, three updated) serving students, teachers, school administrators, and district administrators.
Designed the Usage Report with single-minded pages and breadcrumb drill-down navigation, allowing each user type to start at their appropriate organizational level and explore data without overwhelming complexity.
Created flexible visualization system for the Item Distribution Report using overview and detailed tabs with adaptive question cards that handle diverse question types from multiple choice to constructed response.
Developed teacher controls for Student Progress and Individual Assignment Reports, giving educators flexibility to manage what data displays when—respecting the messy reality of classroom data and pedagogical timing.
Leveraged Claude to generate realistic curricular materials, course rosters, and user personas for high-fidelity prototype testing with 10-20 educators.
Delivered development-ready specifications currently in testing and development, praised by engineering for clarity and completeness.
